ABOUT OUR RINGS
Are your rings handmade?
Yes! Every spoon and coin ring is individually
handmade by Recycled by Kobie. We transform
vintage spoons and coins into unique, wearable
pieces of jewellery, giving old objects a new life.
Are all your rings one of a kind?
Many of our rings are made from vintage and recycled
materials, meaning patterns, dates and finishes can
vary. Some designs are available in multiple sizes,
while others are completely one of a kind.
What are spoon rings made from?
Our spoon rings are made from repurposed spoons.
Materials vary depending on the original spoon and
may include stainless steel, silver-plated metal
and sterling silver. Check individual product
descriptions for material details.
What are coin rings made from?
Our coin rings are made from real coins sourced
from Australia and around the world. The metal
depends on the original coin, and each ring
retains details from its original design.
SIZING & COMFORT
How do I know my ring size?
All our rings are listed in
US ring sizes.
You can measure a ring you already own, measure
your finger using paper or string, or visit a
jeweller. Follow the sizing guide directly below
for instructions and measurements.
HOW TO FIND YOUR US RING SIZE
Choose one of these three methods to find your perfect fit.
METHOD 1 — MEASURE A RING YOU ALREADY OWN
- Find a ring that fits the finger you're buying for.
- Place it on a flat surface.
- Measure the inside diameter straight across the centre in millimetres.
- Match your measurement to the chart below.
Measure only the empty space inside the ring, not the metal.
METHOD 2 — PAPER OR STRING
- Cut a narrow strip of paper or use non-stretchy string.
- Wrap it comfortably around the base of your finger.
- Mark where the ends overlap.
- Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres.
- Match the result to the finger circumference column.
Don't pull too tightly. Your ring should also fit over your knuckle.
METHOD 3 — VISIT A JEWELLER
For the most accurate measurement, visit a local jeweller and ask to have your finger measured using a ring sizing tool. This is particularly helpful when buying a wider coin ring.

Measurements are approximate. Measure at the end of the day when your hands are at a comfortable temperature. Wider rings can feel tighter, so you may need a slightly larger size.
Can I get my ring resized?
Some rings can be resized depending on their
material, design and construction. Contact us
with a photo of your ring and your required
size so we can assess what's possible.
Are spoon rings comfortable to wear?
Yes! Our spoon rings are shaped, finished and
polished with everyday comfort in mind. Because
they're handmade from repurposed materials,
the thickness and shape can vary between designs.
Can I wear my ring every day?
Many of our rings are suitable for regular wear.
To keep them looking their best, remove them before
swimming, cleaning, heavy physical work or activities
that could damage the metal.

Can I choose my own spoon to be made into a ring?
Absolutely! Visit our Pick a Spoon Board at
participating markets and events, choose your
favourite spoon and we'll make it into a ring for you.
Can I bring my own spoon?
We may be able to turn your own spoon into a ring,
depending on its material, size and condition.
Contact us first with photos so we can check
whether it's suitable.
Can I have my own coin made into a ring?
Yes, depending on the coin. Some coins aren't
suitable due to their size, thickness or metal
composition. Send us a photo of both sides of
your coin and we can advise.
Do you make custom rings for gifts?
Of course! Spoon and coin rings make thoughtful,
personalised gifts. Get in touch if you have a
particular spoon, coin, design or occasion in mind.
Can you come to my wedding, party or work event?
Yes! Our mobile Pick a Spoon Board can be hired
for weddings, Christmas parties, corporate functions,
birthdays and private events. Guests choose their
favourite spoon and we make their rings on the spot.

Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes! We offer shipping throughout Australia.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally to supported
destinations. Available shipping options and
costs are calculated at checkout.
How long will my order take?
Processing times depend on the item and whether
it needs to be made to order. Shipping times
vary depending on your location. Please check
product information and shipping estimates
at checkout.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible with your order
number. We'll do our best to help, but changes
may not be possible once an order has been
prepared or shipped.
What if my ring doesn't fit?
Contact us with your order number and sizing issue.
We'll review the available options based on the
ring's design, material and condition, and our
returns policy.
RING CARE
How do I clean my ring?
Use a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then
dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners and
harsh chemicals, particularly on silver-plated
or vintage pieces.
Will my ring tarnish or change colour?
Some metals naturally tarnish or develop a
patina over time. This is normal, especially
with vintage and silver-based materials.
Gentle cleaning and proper storage can help
maintain the finish.
Can I wear my ring in the shower or swimming pool?
We recommend removing your ring before showering,
swimming or using cleaning products. Water and
chemicals can affect certain metals and finishes
over time.
